Fill Sand Description If you are pouring your concrete on an uneven surface or a surface with bumps and holes, you may find it will crack in future and you will be using more concrete to fill the void. Prepare your surface with fill sand to get a nice, level finish. Ideal for backfilling, especially after plumbing and electrical works. |

Sydney Sand Description Washed beach, dune sand. For plastering, rendering, tiling and grouting. If you're building a sandpit, this is the sand you need. It's also ideal for rendering, tiling, grouting for tiles and pavers, as well being perfect for the joints in between pavers. |

Washed River Sand Description Great for paving and mixing with concrete, Washed River Sand also has excellent filtration qualities so it's great for use as fill. Plus, it's the sand you need to combine with potting mix for those plants that love sandy soil. Ideal for subase for laying pavers, and also backfilling around plumbing and electrical pipes. |

White Brick Sand Description Also known as fatty sand. It is a light, grey coloured sand and is used when a light coloured mortar is desired. Usage: : The main use for this sand is for mortaring brickwork. The standard blend for mortar is 6 parts sand to 1 part cement and 1 part hydrated lime. 1 cubic metre of sand will be enough to lay 1,000 bricks and will require 8-10 bags of cement. Brick sand is also the sand used under pool liners for above ground pools. MIX RATES: BRICKWORK ONLY |

Yellow Brick Sand Description A clay-based sand which is perfect for brick and block laying mortar mixes. It's soft and fine, so is the ideal base for your pool. When mixed with white cement, Yellow Brick Sand makes a sandstone coloured mortar. It's also great for brick bagging. |
